The Uprising Hoodies
Last month, Mark Schaefer, world-renowned futurist marketer, held The Uprising, a marketing retreat that is all about insights, not just information. As Mark is fond of saying, “You can get that on Google.”
The retreat is co-created. Mark described it this way in his recent newsletter: “You don’t sit through lectures and pitches from sponsors. We explore the future of marketing in a way that leverages the wisdom of everyone in the room and builds powerful new perspectives.”
This marketing retreat is unlike others in that it’s limited to 30 attendees per retreat, which always builds strong relationships and bonds among all the participants. Thoughtful conversations happen “over a BBQ dinner in the country, a hike through the forest, or big laughs during the trivia competition.”
Graduates of The Uprising receive a nice gift the last night. This year, D and S Designs was privileged to provide the gift, a lightweight, modern zip hoodie with The Uprising logo embroidered on the front left chest.
Mark chose this jacket after we did extensive research for a quality product in the zip hoodie category. D and S sent him a sample to try out first because it’s very important that our clients love what they choose to brand. This zip hoodie turned out to be a homerun – Mark wore the sample daily after he received it!
