Trade Show Ready

One thing D and S Designs does well is get our clients trade show ready. What I mean by that is, we don’t just provide giveaways for our clients when they are headed to a show, we work with them on a plan to get a good return on investment at the show. It costs a lot of time, money, and energy to display at a trade show, so isn’t it a good idea to have a solid plan to get a good ROI for the show?

Pre-Show Planning

The planning we do involves actions to take prior to the show to tell good clients and prospects who are attending the show that you will be there and where. How you tell them can make a big difference in whether or not they come see you at your booth, so we have a variety of ideas to help draw traffic to your booth.

Show Planning

The day or days of the show aren’t just about being there. Our clients know they have to do something to catch the attention of the attendees, and I don’t mean the grazers who walk by booths and collect as much free stuff as they can! I mean having a plan to get people there, having enough staff to talk to people once they come to the booth, having the right conversations to convert prospects, and having the right promotional products to give out at the right time. You should have a nice-looking booth with a table cover that reflects what you do. Pull-up banners are great at being the silent salespeople in your both, visually showing what your business does. We have more good ideas for ways to draw attention to your booth from the right people and we’ll work with you to make them happen because you already have enough to do!

Post-Show Planning

The last step of planning is the most important: follow-up. If you do everything up to this step perfectly but then don’t follow up with your leads, you will not have the good ROI you hoped for. You have to have an action plan ready to go to contact the people you just met in a timely manner. And you need to keep in mind the long game, too. You may not convert your ideal clients on the first meeting, the second meeting, or even the third. You have to stay top-of-mind until they need your products or services and that means being consistently present at the trade shows and also having a plan to stay in front of them in a variety of ways during the rest of the year. We can help you set that up.
